How do i turn that mouse click sound off?

how the poop do i turn it off (windows xp)

should be a little speaker icon on your bottom right tool bar. Click it and then hit mute.

yeah but it will mute everything
i just wanna turn the click off

I think I remeber you saying you were running XP

Go into your control panel and find Sounds and Audio devices. Open that up. Then click on the Sounds tab. Look under the selection for Window and find the item Select, and then set the default sound for it to none.
